    The best thing about 100 Ways to Change Your Life is that everything is science backed and actually helpful. It’s not just some silly self help book… you’ll actually be able to implement these tips into real life scenarios. I will be recommending it to all my friends!

    I have 50 self help/motivational books in my bookcase. I’ve tried to read all of them and, inevitably, something pulls me away. Not this book. It’s the first of its kind that I’ve ever read through and I’m SO glad I did. What an incredible compilation of actionable ideas to live a better, more full life. I can’t thank Liz enough for putting the time and intention she did into this book so others (myself very much included) can easily implement real life-changing steps.

    This book contains an incredible amount of science-backed improvements, simple ways to incorporate it into your life today, and written in a way that hooked me from page 1 (or before??). I am a huge Liz Moody podcast fan, and I always wished I had time to compile all of useful info to refer to later. Well here it is!!

    This will be my go-to read whether I need a pick me up or need to unwind, and I plan on buying a couple to gift as well. Also, looks gorgeous on my nightstand!

Liz is amazing at condensing the latest in depth research and expertise into practical, understandable and actionable advice. What I love most is that you can pick it up at any time, flip to a chapter and in 15 minutes walk away with powerful insight. I cannot recommend this book enough!

    I've been following Liz Moody on Instagram for years and love her recipes and general life advice! This book feels like taking her podcast and wrapping it up into one resource absolutely PACKED with information from the world's top expert in basically every field. As someone with a science background, I really love how diligently she cited the health claims in the book. That brings this book steps above the rest in terms of legitimacy and really respecting the reader by not just making claims that can't be traced back to any real science. This book would make a great gift, and is so beautiful it looks great on my coffee table. I just received it today, can't wait to dive in more.

    I have just finished a course in my master's program that was based on Dr. Josefowitz's textbook - CBT Made Simple. I found the explanations to be clear and engaging, and the exercises, graphics, worksheets and videos deepened my learning considerably. When I started the course I was not sure I would be using CBT in my future practice, but using Dr. Josefowitz's textbook has inspired me to incorporate CBT as a main therapeutic framework. This textbook was the core of a great learning experience.

    As a supervisor and professor, I am always on the hunt for accessible and practical books for students and trainees. Dr. Josefowitz's book is excellent. Her writing is clear, and she brings cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to life through worksheets and realistic case examples. Dr. Josefowitz's warmth shines through and she provides tips to enhance the therapeutic relationship. This book really does distil the fundamental principles and techniques of CBT in a simple but not overly-simplistic manner. I think this book would be instructive not only for grad students and early career therapists, but it would also be an excellent read for seasoned clinicians who are hoping to add cognitive behavioural therapy skills to their repertoire.

It’s definitely not Linehan’s model, but takes skills from her methodology in some broad ways and applies it to how people are impacted by trauma. It actually goes by very slow, and can be complex and not very concrete. It’s a good book if you have clients who can stick with it and stay preset and mindful.

    I loved this book to use with clients. It is a nice mix of DBT and other models/interventions to support healing. It’s primarily DBT but they do integrate some MI, CBT, and ACT to the book. I use it with youth in juvenile hall and out patient clients....which both populations seem to benefit from it. They break dow aspects of mindfulness that make it a little easier for the client to practice on their own.
